Past editions can be found by clicking here. Vestry Retreat 2010 - Christ Church Vestry met for retreat in late February after being snowed out earlier this year. The time was renewing, and enriching with some great help from the Diocese and a consultant, the Rev. Jeunee Cunningham. Look for some new ministry and energy coming your way! Walk the Walk with Christ Church has moved to Saturdays at 9:00 AM. Pictures of the first Walk the Walk are now online. Construction is almost complete, click here to see some of the work being done. Updated 24 January 2010. Christ Church families made Advent Wreaths after Sunday service 22 Sep. Advent comes from the Latin word adventus, meaning "coming." Advent begins the church year, starting four Sundays before Christmas. The season of Advent has been set aside as a time of preparation for Christmas since at least the last half of the 6th century. Advent is a time for self-examination and asking for forgiveness as the church is preparing for Christ’s Second Coming even as it prepares for Christmas All Saint's Day Brunch - Our Stewards hosted a parish brunch followed by followed by brief outline of the many ministries provided by the Christ Church.
