Sunday School

At Christ Church we emphasize religious formation! Nowhere is that better exemplified than in our broad range of Sunday School classes offered every Sunday at 10:00 AM. (breaks for the Summer)

For children Pre-School through 2nd grade we offer formation that comes from the Godly Play source material, a very Montessori-based curriculum.

For 3rd through 6th grades we offer a program of formation that includes quite a bit of project work to encourage participation and retention.

For 7th graders through High School (teenagers) we offer an active program of formation that includes education and extra-curricular service activities to put good Christian values into practice and re-enforce the best elements of Christian faith.

For more information, contact Children & Youth Ministry Coordinator: Ray Locke.

The Nursery

The Christ Church Nursery was established to allow the parents of infants and very young children to fully participate in the regular church services and adult Sunday school classes without any child care worries or distractions.  This “Day Care” service is a vital part of our church stewardship provided so parents can continue to enhance and fulfill their spiritual journey the same as the rest of our parishioners.

“Permit the children to come to me and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”     Mark 10:14

A staffed nursery is available from 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM for infants and children up to 5 years of age.
